If I spent more on tires than I did on the car? Because my new Jeep (that I haven’t even taken delivery of) needs new tires, no question about it, and these cho nky BF Goodrichs are super sexy.

Somewhat Jalop. Unless you’re ALSO putting these on an AMC Eagle, you cannot unlock Full Jalop . Or on an RX-7, which would be Jalop Ultra .

It’s aspirational, not always realistic.

The BFG AT tread always looked like peanuts to me. Part of the reason I went with Nitto TG2's. That and they were cheaper.

course... that rule only applies once i have the car....so i guess if you order before you get it you good....it just counts towards the price of the car then

I had half a mind to get Michelin tires for the fiero. Which would easily be as much as what I paid for the car. And the new brakes all around cost half as much as I got the car for. Cheap car life is  an interesting life, when you have a bigger budget than "cheap".

Hell yeah. Bought it for $500 cause the dude wanted it gone. It needs a $30 crank sensor to run again, and I could turn around and sell it for like $3,000 if I don’t just keep it. Tires are trash though. They’re almost bald and one of them w as sitting on the rim for six months.

Lots of dirt roads, snow, and some occasional dune driving. I know there’s c heaper tires but I like those ones.

Then go for it. They are great tires. Tires are the arguably the best mod you can make to an off-road vehicle. Very Jalop.

That’s the plan. At the very least i t’ll let me take the BMW off the road to get some large maintenance items out of the way. It’s hard to work on your only car when you work six days a week. Limits me to jobs that I’m confident can be done in a single afternoon.

know that feel...i barely get around to working on my bike..its currently missing 2 spokes from the front.... makes it handle a bit funny in turns

ive decided not to spend what little free time i have fixing it tho...im going to find out how many spokes a front wheel can miss before it pretzels...then have a shop build me a new one to match the rear

Too small. Get these. Or in a 265/75 r16 or even better get some jk take off wheels and get 265/70r17. There offset sets the out a little more too.

Might need a spacer lift.

I know the feeling. That day I bought mine it seemed like absolute torture (and, in a sign of things to come, my security camera dropped off the Internet that day so I drove home to make sure I wasn’t being robbed  before we had finished doing all of the final paperwork).
